Announcing: Tour De Frights!

Hopefully you’ve heard of the popular Christmastime bike ride here called Tour de Lights. Taking place every mid-December, and hosted by Visit Knoxville and Bike Walk Knoxville, the annual ride brings thousands of our neighbors onto the streets in fun holiday clothes and costumes with their bicycles decked out with holiday cheer. It’s an incredible event, and something we aspire to in terms of community-building.
So, naturally, we had to have something similar for Halloween.
It is with that in mind that we are proud to announce that this year, for the first time ever, we will be co-hosting an unofficial sister ride alongside other local nonprofit Two Bikes. Please direct your undead attention to: Tour de Frights, Knoxville’s Haunted Bike Adventure.

Starting at Suttree Landing Park, this ride calls on all fans of both bicycles and Spooky Season to dress in their best costumes and come along with us through Downtown, North Knoxville, and East Knoxville, with a special halfway-point stop where we will have an official costume contest! Prizes will be awarded, friends will be made, and we may even visit a cemetery or two. Registration opens at the end of August with details on the ride and costume contest on our event page and with all proceeds going 50/50 to Two Bikes and us. Save October 16th on your calendars, and we’ll see you there!
